Eagle Rock Financial Advisers, Ltd. offers a range of financial services including custodial investment management, comprehensive financial planning, assistance with asset allocation decisions for 529 or 401(k) plans, and analysis of mortgage refinancing choices. We also have extensive experience with complex estate and tax planning techniques and strategies.

The Financial Planning Process

Because we believe in the merits of financial planning, we have engaged most of our clients in the financial planning process. The process, as defined by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., follows these six logical steps.
  1. Establish and define the client-planner relationship

  2. Gather client data, including goals

  3. Analyze and evaluate the client's financial status

  4. Develop and present a financial plan with recommendations and alternatives

  5. Implement the plan

  6. Monitor the progress of the implemented recommendations

Address Other Financial Questions and Concerns

While most client questions are answered as a by-product of following the financial planning process, we add value to our relationship by helping to answer these as well as other financial questions.
  • How are my investments performing relative to comparable indices?

  • Am I saving enough for retirement?

  • What are the best education savings plans? Is a 529 best, and if so, which one?

  • Is the amount of investment risk I am taking consistent with my financial goals?

  • Should I consider a Roth IRA or convert my Traditional IRA to a Roth?

  • Is my estate in order? Does my will take care of everything?
It is our objective to work with our client's other financial and legal professionals to make sure they have a complete understanding of their financial circumstances. Integrating all of their finances is our goal. We look at college funding needs, retirement goals, insurance coverage, and anything else that allows the client to sleep at night knowing their financial life is in order. It can be said that we worry about money so our clients don't have to.
